| Easy to find |
| Tinside Lido is located below the Hoe at sea level. Parking is limited, meters are available along Hoe Road, as is disabled parking. The nearest public car park is located 10 minutes walk away. There is however a drop-off point on Hoe Road - simply follow the signs for Plymouth Dome. There is a Park and Ride service from Milehouse (near Home Park) which also calls at the Railway Station, Barbican and Plymouth city centre (short walk from Royal Parade). |

| Early Morning Swimming |
| Each indoor pool offers the opportunity for everyone to start the day with an early, refreshing swim in calm quiet and ambient surroundings. Swimming starts at or shortly after 7am every weekday. |

| Public Swimming |
| All our pools offer safe, comfortable, friendly and affordable public swimming with highly qualified staff in attendance. Session times vary and discounts are available for 'Plymcard' holders. |

| Lane Swimming |
| Lane swimming for adults is available at our indoor pools for those who wish to enjoy a continuous, unimpeded swim. Various days and times available. |

| Swimming Lessons |
| Each pool has a comprehensive, highly professional Learn to Swim programme with supervised tuition from Aqua Tots to Junior and Adult lessons. These are very popular sessions and require pre-booking. |

| We offer the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification for 16+ and Junior Lifesaving Classes. |

| Adults Gentle Swim |
| We welcome all of our mature customers to attend any of the numerous sessions on offer to benefit from the proven medical and physical advantages of gentle swimming. Our sessions are socially very popular and a regular meeting point for established and new friends. |

| Ladies Only |
| Weekly sessions are held at both of the indoor pools with an added deep water Aquafit class available during the session time at Central Park. All women are welcome at these exclusive lane swimming times where the atmosphere is relaxed and yes, chatting is allowed! |

| People with Disabilities |
| All pools have disabled changing facilities and equipment to help people in and out of the water. Assistance is always available but for those who prefer to use them each pool has their own alternative shallow entry steps, which are either permanently fitted or available upon request. |

| Wet 'n' Wild |
| Inflatable fun for children is held on Saturdays during term time and each pool also has extra sessions during the school holidays. Our large bouncy structures are challenging but enjoyable fun. For the less adventurous a variety of other fun equipment is also provided for extra excitement. |

| Diving Pool |
| There is a full time professional diving programme based at Central Park Pool where diving lessons are available to adults and children, catering for complete beginners to international competitors. | Octopush |
| Octopush, or underwater hockey, is an exciting, fast game of skill involving two teams of players using masks, snorkels, fins and a 'pusher'. If you want something fast that will push your physical fitness to the limits then this is the game for you. Everyone with a basic level of fitness welcome. |
