Now well into its sixth year Bistro One, situated in the historic Victorian area known as Ebrington Street, near to the University of Plymouth and the Barbican, Chef and Restaurateur Stephen Barrett brings a menu of surprises cooked in a Modern Bistro Style. Sourcing the majority of ingedients from local sources Stephen and the team continue to deliver dishes that surprise and delight. WineHolidays.net is Ten Years Old!

During the past ten years WineHolidays had opened up a special market for wine clubs, enthusiastic amateurs and simply persons interested in tasting and visiting some magnificent wine regions.

Our first forays ten years ago simply went to either Bordeaux or Rioja both being accessible via Plymouth using Brittany Ferries. Wine Clubs as far away as Cardiff, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Gloucester, Basingstoke and Pinner soon found our service second to none as we increased our venues to include the Loire, Alsace and Champagne, Chablis, Burgundy, Provence and Rhone, Languedoc, Roussillon and Spain's Ribera del Duero.

Business flourished year on year with increased traffic to between four and five locations per year.

Each of the bespoke WineHolidays travels with a minimum of 26 persons to a maximum of 40 in our air-conditioned Luxury coach. We never fill the coach to capacity enabling comfort and space.

The wineries, Vineyards, Chateaux and Bodegas we visit are run by artisans specialising in hand-crafted wines often with a Vineyard or Chateau lunch to boot.

The last two years we have conducted five WineHolidays each year both for Wine Clubs and the general public. Our skills have been recognised by leading figures in the wine tourist industry, our USP of amassing first rate wine knowledge and being able to visit special wineries not normally available to the public at large.

We are also able to arrange bespoke WineHolidays for businesses and institutions and clubs wishing to enjoy a short break to wine districts of their choice.
