Plymouth & South Hams central branch was born at a public meeting organised by HQ in August 2001. A commitee was formed and a fair was organised at the Guildhall to launch the branch in November 2001.

They started with 3 fosterers with outside pens and they now have several indoor foster carers and five outdoor foster pens. The group of members has grown over the last decade and they now have many volunteers who help with fundraising, fostering, welfare, rehoming and other tasks. They are always looking for additional volunteers, as sadly volunteers come and go. They are looking particularly for fundraisers and foster carers - although they have something for everyone, so please contact them if you have a little time you can spare. Tel: 0845 37 12 753
