| Promoting Co-operation |
Brest Twinning Panel |
| Information: |
We are a group interested in promoting links with our twin city of Brest, and we meet together on a regular basis. We organise an annual exchange with a similar group in Brest as we all love visiting Brittany and being welcomed by families into their homes. During the year, we hold meetings and fund raising evenings. We receive many requests from Brest for links with Plymouth sports clubs, choirs, the fire brigade and many other organisations. Each year, we assist students, on a voluntary basis, who are trying to find work placements in the area. We are linked with Plymouth City Council, but work independently from them.
New members are welcome and we hope that families with children who are learning French will link with us to make contacts with French families.
