PJC formed in 1984 is a members club whose objective is to promote live jazz music in Plymouth.

Meet: On the first and third Sundays of the month.

Venue: The Mermaid, Frogmore Avenue, Eggbuckland

Membership is open to all who appreciate jazz music. All events are open to non members. All indoor events are non smoking.

In the summer months the club promotes two outdoor jazz picnics at Saltram House and Morwellham Quay, plus a 'Riverboat Shuffle' to Morwellham Quay.

We are a small group who train in the Brazilian Art form of Capoeira Angola. It is a mixture of acrobatics, dance, gaming, music and song. It is great for fitness, co-ordination, balance, suppleness and flexibility.

We hold regular classes every Thursday at Brickfields Sports Centre, Devonport. The class is open to everyone. Unfortunately at present the Sports Centre wont accept any children under the age of 14 years.

Classes are from 8 - 9.30pm, and are great fun.

Learn the Self defence, build confidence and get fit while having fun and making friends. No experience needed, new people always welcome.

Wutan is a Chinese martial arts School founded in the UK in 1977. We try to promote all aspects of Chinese martial arts, from relaxation, healing and health to self-defence, body conditioning and competitions.

Registered with the British Council for Chinese Martial Arts and recognised by the European and International Wushu Federations.

We are a friendly club who welcome runners and walkers of all levels ,from the 2 1/2 hour marathon runners to people who want to start from the beginning and just to keep fit.

After the meeting we then go out on various routes, after which have free tea and biccies and discuss the latest news from Neighbours!!!!

We also have track sessions in the summer and circuit training in the winter. Come along, we are all daft as brushes, we must be to wear Lcyra and try us out.

Sailing in Brigs Prince William and "Stavros S Nicharos" For all ages from 16 - 69 years. Financial assistance towards fees may be available for those aged 16 - 21 years.

The club promotes sailing in Plymouth in all its forms.

Primarily a dinghy club, racing is organised Tuesday evenings during the summer and most Sunday afternoons throughout the year. Our very active cadet meets Friday evenings when children of anyage can learn to sail and have fun (they must be able to swim).

Mayflower Sailing Club is a recognised RYA training centre and organises courses for sailing and powerboats at various times throughout the year.

Come tall ship sailing with the Jubilee Sailing Trust. We have two ships (Lord Nelson and Tenacious) which cater for all, regardless of physical ability or disability. Get involved with your local branch's activities which are social and fun!

The aim is to provide a chance for the over 50s to meet socially and share all. Outings and foreign holidays are also being arranged. Plus all the benefits of the National Association which includes helplines, insurances, travel club, special discounts.

Membership: At present you pay to be a corporate member of Dinnaton Country Club at their rate and then pay per session attended.
