Thousands of local people and holiday makers flocked to Pirate FM's star studded pop party, The Big Gig today. Plymouth Hoe came alive with the sound of chart favourites including Charlotte Church, Daniel Bedingfield, Bananarama, Liberty X, Mark Owen, Rowetta, Andy Scott Lee, Simon Webbe and Noise Next Door.
The live event, held in association with Proper Cornish Pasties was hosted by Pirate FM presenters including Bob McCreadie and Allen Fleckney.
Pirate FM Station Manager, Beverley Warne commented: "Pirate FM is thrilled to be able to bring stars like Charlotte and Daniel to Plymouth and to be behind such a great family day out. It was wonderful to see our listeners and the stars alike letting their hair down on the Hoe."
