Plymouth Pavilions is a complex combination of interrelated trading areas within a publicly funded arts, entertainment, conference and leisure centre.

The Pavilions' Arena is a flexible, multi-purpose space able to accommodate a broad programme of events in tabled, seated and standing formats with capacities of between 350 and 4,000. The Arena's buoyant live events programme consists of popular and mostly commercial events including; high profile rock and pop concerts, stand up and staged comedy, light entertainment shows, premier league basketball, televised darts, popular ballet and opera.

The Arena's non-performance events programme includes association conferences, corporate and public banquets, exhibitions and university awards and exam events.

The Ice Rink and Fun Pool combine to attract 250,000 visitors to the venue. The pool is the only ‘fun pool' in Plymouth and the rink is the only permanent ice rink west of Bristol.
